100 Salons… One BIG Night!

Bubbles, braids and blow-dries – the first ever Big Hair Do from Creative HEAD magazine & website Layered had them all… and then some!

All three award-winning Bliss salons were proud to be part of the action where 100 UK hair salons threw open their doors to the first-ever Big Hair Do – a unique ‘experience’ evening filled with fun, education, product testing, hair DIYs and stylist expertise, helping thousands of consumers to solve their hair problems and update their look for the season ahead.

Creative HEAD publisher, Catherine Handcock, said: “The Big Hair Do was billed as the biggest hair party to take place in UK salons ever, and it has been a fantastic success – beyond our wildest dreams! Salons embraced the concept with gusto, inspiring consumers with the latest hair tricks, techniques and products, and getting them excited about their new hair look. For consumers, it was a chance to meet their local salon team and be blown away by their skills and expertise. Everybody loved the opportunity to get together, and we can’t wait to do it again next year!”

Complimentary cocktails and canapés, branded cupcakes and bubbles on tap helped create a vibrant party mood with all the Big Hair Do action captured and publicised via the #bighairdo hashtag on social media. And we trended!

Every guest left with a Big Hair Do goody bag containing hair products and vouchers to use on future salon visits.
